Skytek Technology Takes Flight on Axiom Mission 4

At Skytek, we are proud to play a part in another exciting chapter in human space exploration. With the Axiom Mission 4 launch, we celebrate not only a new milestone for our technology but also a historic moment for European spaceflight.

Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, a distinguished member of the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Astronaut Reserve Class of 2022, becomes the first Polish astronaut to travel to the International Space Station (ISS). His mission marks a significant achievement for Poland and Europe as a whole, reflecting ESA’s growing role in international space collaboration.

During his two-week stay aboard the ISS, Mr. Uznański-Wiśniewski will conduct a range of cutting-edge scientific experiments. These procedures were developed using Skytek’s advanced authoring platform, which enables mission specialists to create and refine complex scientific workflows with precision and reliability.

The experiments will be delivered and carried out in orbit using Skytek’s International Procedure Viewer (IPV+), a powerful tool designed to provide astronauts with real-time access to mission protocols, checklists, and interactive instructions. IPV+ is a cornerstone of Skytek’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the efficiency, safety, and scientific impact of operations in space.

This mission continues Skytek’s longstanding partnership with leading space agencies and commercial providers, demonstrating the vital role our software plays in supporting space-based research and innovation.

We are honoured to support Mr. Uznański-Wiśniewski and the Axiom Mission 4 team. We look forward to the insights and advancements that will come from this historic mission—and to many more collaborations that push the boundaries of what is possible in space.
